Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharma along with Diploma in Pharmaceutical Management
1. Passed Diploma in Pharmacy from a PCI-approved Institution, with at least 60% marks. (Candidate must attain the age of 18 years.
2. Lateral admission to B.Pharm (B.Pharm Lateral entry) is offered to a candidate with a D.Pharm qualification who would like to pursue higher learning in pharmacy.
3. Thus the lateral entry system allows the candidate to get admission into the second-year B.Pharm directly. So, with three years of further studies, these Diploma in Pharmacy holders can become pharmacy graduates.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish admission notices on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
